And I can tell you the one thing I haven't done: Post here.
This year I decided not to use the two websites I created for my students last year due to accessibility issues: the bottom line is, too many of my students still do not have computers or Internet in their homes. Compounding this problem, my school neglected to hire a full-time librarian at the beginning of the year (don't get me started), basically squashing any hope of getting students online for any real amount of time.
So it goes.
However, in January my AP students and I will be creating a Wiki page for a comprehensive review of World History and essay writing, so I hope to get this site back up and running before we do. I also plan, in the next few days (how else to spend a vacation?) to upload as many of my successful lessons from the past semester as possible. Our department's plan to cover everything from Global Absolutism to World War I in one semester seems to have come off without any problems and we can now look forward to a 5-6 week unit on modern issues at the end of the year.
More planning to come, then.
So, here's a World History Xmas video courtesy of John Lennon and some youtuber. Look for more this week.
